ABOUT JOFCSD

OUR STORY

It was the 1st of November 1897 when a group of friends, sitting on a bench on Corso Re Umberto, one of the most famous streets in city centre Turin, decided to start a football team that would have later become legend.Since then, Juventus is not only one of the most successful team in Italy and Europe — supported by 250 millions of fans all around the world — but also a well known promoter of values like Loyalty, Respect and Social Commitment.

One hundred and twenty-two (122) years later after that 1st of November and 6,044 miles away from that bench where everything began, a group of friends sharing the same passion for football with the same values that Juventus always represented, decided to start the first Juventus Official Fan Club based in "America’s Finest City"... San Diego.

Based in Little Italy, Downtown San Diego, our Family welcomes members from many different countries representing many different cultures and together we share the passion and attachment for la Vecchia Signora. When it’s about love, time, and space don’t count anymore, we are all one team, we are all one club. Fino alla fine, forza Juventus!

ROOTS & HISTORY

CITY SILHOUETTE

Our city silhouette represents the beautiful skyline that surrounds Little Italy in downtown San Diego from a Shelter Island vantage point. These city buildings boast being the tallest high-rises with sleek and modern designs that have been adorned by all locals in San Diego. From the iconic Coronado Bridge, to the United States Navy Pacific Fleet's ships docked at our harbor, are all elements that have symbolized our charming city for decades.

COLOR & FLOWER

The Carnation flower is the official flower of San Diego County. Its pink variation in the flower is the symbol of passion, affection, and the mother’s undying love. The pink color writes a page in Juventus' history that represents the roots and traditions behind the well known black & white stripes of today. For all these reasons, the pink Carnation Flower also represents our Fan Club — always supporting Juventus with the unconditional love that only real Fans can give.

OUR TEAM, ONE CLUB

OUR MISSION

In sports like in life, the way we achieve our goals and results is even more important than the goal itself. We know that every game, league or tournament tells a different story, and each story becomes part of the History that we get the honor to write.

We aim to bring those stories to San Diego, where we believe that Juventus' values can make a strong impact to the public's sphere and the constantly growing Football community. Doing so, Juventus Official Fan Club San Diego's goals, along with Juventus F.C., is to promote the value of respect, social sharing and inclusion.
